CITY INQUIRIES

The city inquiries service involves a process of assistance and guidance in the search and provision of information via chat on Infolocal website. This service responds to the information needs and requirements of citizens on issues related to procedures, educational and cultural guide, programs and services of general interest, and general information about Aburrá Valley.

The Local Information Service, which seeks to strengthen the specialized reference service in Comfenalco Antioquia libraries, introduces this service as an initiative to promote the access to local information, in addition to the use and management of library services based on ICT, becoming an alternative consultation tool for library users and the community at large.

REGULATIONS

The city inquiries service is free

of charge and provides general information solely and exclusively on the following topics about Medellín:
  • Programs and services of general interest.
  • Cultural city guide.
  • Procedures for citizens in Aburrá Valley.
  • General information about Aburrá Valley.
    Tourist offer in Aburrá Valley.
  • Calls for proposals for programs offered by public or corporate social responsibility institutions.
  • Calls for proposals of cultural interest addressed to groups, organizations and natural persons.
  • Information on public interest entities of Aburrá Valley (telephone numbers, addresses and business hours).
  • Information on the programs and services of Comfenalco Antioquia libraries.
No homework, academic or research work, directories, or commercial information about the city are provided.

The city inquiries service will be limited to the provision of general information about the city in accordance with these regulations. Therefore, we reserve the right to answer those inquiries and requests that do not comply with the scope and conditions established for this service.

  • Make inquiries in a clear and concise manner, thus allowing an adequate response.

RESPONSE TIME

According to the scope and complexity in the search and retrieval of information, a convenient time for each inquiry will be devoted. For inquiries made outside the business hours, they will remain pending, and will be answered within 48 business hours.

BUSINESS HOURS

Monday to Friday: 8:00 a. m. to 6:00 p. m. - Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays: No service is provided. - However, you can leave us your inquiry - and as soon as we are on duty, we will answer it.
